Redevelopment Agency (RDA)

Overview

The Redevelopment Agency (RDA) of South Salt Lake is authorized under State law Title 17C known as the Limited Purpose Local Government Entities-Community Development and Renewal Agencies. South Salt Lake is able to use funds and resources specifically designated for redevelopment purposes. These resources help municipalities pursue economic development, create jobs, eliminate blight, and construct public works. They also help rehabilitate residential, commercial, industrial, and retail districts. To access and utilize these resources, municipalities must create and sustain an agency to oversee their use.

Meetings

RDA meetings are held at 6:00 pm on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month, on an "as needed'" basis, at South Salt Lake City Hall (City Council Chambers, 2nd Floor). See below for the current year meeting schedule.
