Promise South Salt Lake is a network of 14 programs, at 12 locations throughout our City that offer services for youth, families, and the community at no cost. Promise SSL serves anyone who lives, learns, works, plays, and prays in South Salt Lake.
Promise SSL programs do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, religion, or sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, and gender identity). We prioritize efforts to advance inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility (IDEA) initiatives across all aspects of our work while removing barriers to access and opportunities. Commitment to IDEA initiatives reflects the City’s aim to be a place where all people find themselves represented, welcomed, engaged, and heard. With these values at the forefront of our minds, we encourage the organizations we partner with to do the same. We recognize this work as a journey that is never complete.
Our youth programs are what we are best known for. We put a specific emphasis on our youngest residents, providing a city-wide system of afterschool that ensures our youth receive the same high-quality services across all of our programs year-round.
Promise South Salt Lake recognizes the importance of family and community engagement as an essential element to achieve long-term, sustainable, and improved outcomes, processes, relationships, discourse, decision-making, and implementation.
