Join the SSL Cares Coalition to make a lasting impact in the community. No previous experience is necessary to participate. Being a member of the coalition involves attending monthly meetings and supporting the Coalition's work in a variety of ways that that fit within your interests, skills, and schedule.
SSL Cares Coalition
The South Salt Lake Cares Coalition is our aligned effort to create community-wide change where every one from every sector can play a role. The Coalition consists of any community members, leaders, and businesses who want to help create better lives for everyone in South Salt Lake. The Coalition has two main bodies which meet regularly to align partnerships, assess community strengths and needs, build capacity, plan programming, advise activities, and drive meaningful action to give everyone the opportunity to succeed.
Promise Pillars
Our City-wide structure is built on nine Promise Pillars which have been identified as the foundation of the physical and social infrastructure needed to have a thriving community. Committees are formed around Promise Pillars which are identified as priority areas.

In order to best serve our community, we must partner with those who hire, teach, serve, preach, parent, broadcast, govern, influence, and grow up here. We invite you to get involved in whatever ways you can. Don't feel limited by a sector you feel "makes sense" for you in your role.
