Promise SSL Baby & You

The Baby & You program is designed to create a sense of community and belonging in which caregivers can work and learn with each other as they gain knowledge about child development and build the confidence to support the social, emotional, academic, and developmental needs of their children 0-3. Our approach includes a 9-session program in partnership with content area experts.

Session Overview 

Sessions are 3 hours long from 9 am  - 12 pm. Breakfast, lunch, and childcare for children ages 9 months to 12 years old are provided.

• Session 3: Developmental Milestones 
• Session 4: Social Emotional Learning 
• Session 5: Positive Guidance & Behavior Management
• Session 6: Health, Nutrition, & Safety 
• Session 7: Parental Self-Care & Stress Management 
• Session 8: Learning Through Play & Community 
• Session 9: Planning for the Future & Graduation

Get Involved 

• Sponsor breakfast or lunch.
• Donate incentives: New and gently used diaper bags, baby carriers, developmental toys, board books, etc.. New diapers, wipes, creams, nursing pads, etc. 
• Volunteer: help provide childcare and enrichment activities for the kids while they're caregivers are in the workshop.
