Afterschool and Community Programs

Promise South Salt Lake is a tremendous resource for residents that provides a variety of free youth, family, and community services, including education programs.

Community Programs at The Co-Op

The Community Opportunity Center (Co-Op) is a space for city residents, community groups, and partner organizations to connect, work, learn, and grow. The Co-Op includes 9,000 square feet of workspaces, reservable private meeting rooms, classrooms, and event spaces. A variety of adult programming is provided, including community education, small business support, arts programming, and more.

Granite School District

South Salt Lake is served by the Granite School District. Many students in our City struggle with daily barriers to education, which can reduce access to opportunities. Visit the Granite Education Foundation to see how you can help. Schools that serve students of South Salt Lake include:

Library

Granite Library in South Salt Lake is one of many libraries operated by Salt Lake County that provides our community with books, music, movies, and magazines in a variety of formats, in additional to educational events, programs, and workshops for residents of all ages.
